My Story

I've always been fascinated by nature. Growing up in a city, I counted the days until I would be let loose in the wilderness to go around picking (without harming) beetles, lizards, and pretty much any living creature that dared cross paths with my little self.

Even though I wanted to be a marine biologist, life had other plans for me and I ended up studying law. That being said, I always maintained a scientific curiosity burning in my heart, which enabled be to commence this project with IE University's FAB LAB while I was working for the institution in a completely unrelated role.

This project came along because being an amateur mycologist, I realized that the blocks of mycelium that I was harvesting in my homemade lab were a wonderful biomaterial that could replace many non-recyclable materials.

So here I am, amigos. Just a dreamer trying to make a living out of my ideas and help the world become a little bit better in the process.
